Beginner D.j., Please Help Me With The Equipment I Need!?

Hey, I’m looking to get into the d.j.-ing service and I have no idea what kind of equipment i need. I want to dj for dances, weddings, exc. Please let me know what kind of equipment I can get and should get to start. My budget is $3000.00 or less. Thanks!

my budget would be below $700. help! and what other things(books, magazines etc) should i get if i want to take good pictures in weddings and capturing human emotions?
