Wedding Coming Faster And Faster! Need Help!?
So my fiance and I are getting married August 25 this year. It was orginally decided for next year, but my brother is a Marine and leaves for Afghanistan in January, and I want him to be at my wedding. Anyways, I have looked and looked for dresses. As everyone is these days, we are on a tight budget. I look on Davidsbridal.com at their sale dresses but found none I liked, and my sister is telling me they have some in store on clearance. Have you boughten a dress on clearance and fell in love with it? Also, My brides maids will be my three older sisters, and I would love to have my fiances little sisters as well, the only problem is, I can not afford all of their dresses, unless I can find a VERY cheap place to get them from. How do I let them down easy? Do you think it is rude to not let them be in my wedding? Also, what are your top DIY tips for weddings? We are planning on making our own center pieces and announcements, but what else? Thanks and God bless you all!
You need to go shopping for your dress ASAP! You have to go inside the store and try the dresses on. You can’t really tell if you’ll fall in love with a dress until you look at yourself in the mirror with it on. You can try sample sales (some stores are offering 20%-75% off) or small dress boutiques. Maybe you can find a bargain. You need to get a move on this because you will need alterations.
As for the bridesmaids dresses, you are not expected to pay for them. It’s not rude not to have them in the wedding as long as you haven’t asked them already. Maybe you can involve them in another way, like, reading a passage during the ceremony.
