It was AWESOME! We could pick from new paint for the living room, a new microwave, stuff for the yard - it was great! We eneded up putting the gift card towards a new fridge, (which we LOVE). Even if you're not a homeowner, you'll find something you can't live without at a home improvement store. My company / coworkers gave my husband and I a $100 gift card to a home improvement store as a wedding gift. It was AWESOME! Not only is the company providing a nice gift, they are supporting the local economy. A gift card to a department store or local retailer. A wine and cheese basket. The company could arrange for wine glasses to be etched with the company logo and each employee getting married would get two of these along with the wine and cheese basket.
